The Story

A Candid Journey of Passion, Curiosity, Grit, and Vision
My story didn’t start in a Silicon Valley garage. It started in Ecuador, caught between the meticulous craftsmanship of Cuenca and the raw, untamed resourcefulness of the Amazon.
As a kid, I didn't have conventional toys—I had a relentless curiosity. My childhood was a hands-on laboratory where I dismantled discarded televisions, tape decks, and toasters just to extract their motors. Where others saw scrap, I saw the anatomy of the future. I remember staring at exposed circuit boards and not seeing wires, but tiny buildings, roads, and cities waiting to be built. That absolute need to understand how things connect became my DNA.
Fueled by the monumental sacrifices of my immigrant family—especially my mother, who sacrificed her own education to guarantee mine—I brought that vision to New York City. When I finally got my hands on my first PC, completely offline, it wasn't a device for games; it was an engine for self-directed exploration.
Today, that childhood obsession is the driving force behind Dr. Byte Technologies. I no longer just take systems apart; I architect them. From massive 1,200-acre smart farms to mission-critical enterprise data centers, my life's work is bridging the physical and the digital.
My mission is simple: to engineer systems so efficient that they eliminate friction, empower people, and restore our Life Work Balance.

Providing IT Services to Support A Medical Career
Welcome to NYC
My family paved the way for me to come to NYC to pursue my medical career. Graduating Salutatorian from Academy of Medical Technology my goal was to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. The heart, my favorite organ and the driver of life was at the core of my studies. An honors student in science, chemistry, and physics. I got accepted to an accelerated Pre-Med program at NYU. In my free time, I was mastering the internet, programming apps, and learning more about the wonderful world of technology.
Dr. Byte arrived in the United States in late 2008.
Dr. Byte Computer Services
College was characterized by two incredible realizations.
- The future of medicine is preventative, the biggest impact on human health is the care we place on ourselves as we age.
- The happiness of my small clients when resolving their technology woes gave me joy. This was truly my calling.
As my medical career became increasingly expensive. I decided to not take out student loans and transfer to CCNY for Biomedical Engineering, and then Queens College for International Business. Eventually I dropped out to pursue a career in Information Technology.
Dr. Byte Computer Services provided IT Services for local businesses through word of mouth and the clear business card.
My Early Career
My first IT Job was as a helpdesk technician. I did not understand why every week I had to fix the same issues and tickets over and over. However, I got exposure into how important technology is for a business. I left and shortly after I landed a position as Head of IT for Coalition Space, managing their infrastructure. Coalition's founder, a Comuter Science graduate from Harvard and I spent a lot of time building our own networking equipment, routing tables, and security permissions using Linux and our own hardware.
